Bringing on the Summer.... Our bucket list

Laila and I started a summer bucket list the other day now that she is done with school. Hoping to use this summer to really explore columbus and all it has to offer. On our list, battelle Darby creek, the wilds, topiary gardens and various splash parks. 

Kicking off summer this weekend with a trip to VA to visit grandma!

Easter 2014

Just a few quick photos from a great Easter weekend! Perfect weather and lots of play time outside at Baka & deda's. 

Spring is here at the Brown House

We are enjoying the first few days of what finally feels like real spring! Laila had a great spring break from school which we filled with play dates and swim lessons... And our regular routine trips to the grocery etc...  Started seeds for the garden, and Niko got his first real haircut!

A little Spring Art

We are kind of stalled out on projects at the house since winter so Laila and I decided to spruce up the basement playroom with some wall art. I painted the tree, she added accents and filled in the animals! I love getting to do art projects with her seeing her imagination develop. We are pretty happy with the result and are looking forward to doing some fun outdoor projects in the summer months!

March

We are getting Small pockets of warmer sunny weather finally! In between days of cold. Mixing it up playing outside with inside fun, trips to the movies (Laila and tata dates) and mid day splash fests in the bathtub. Getting the playroom spruced up a bit too. Come on spring!

February is Finally Here

It's February! We celebrated with a trio to jenis ice cream. Later this week we will be celebrating Laila's great job at school (great feedback from her school conferences) with a trip to see Disney on Ice!
